Daddy’s Hangout 2018 NFL Conference Championships Prediction

2018 NFL Conference Championships Prediction

If you’re picking the exact opposite as me, then you’re probably doing great. As a matter of fact, the only team that was correctly guessed was the New England Patriots on my end. My Divisional Round picks from last week was horrible. In the NFC, the New Orleans Saints were picked to host the NFC title game against division foe, the Atlanta Falcons. In the AFC, New England was supposed to host the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Philadelphia Eagles defense held it down in the first game against the Atlanta Falcons. In the second Saturday game, New England dominated the Titans on their way to another conference championship game. The early Sunday game saw the Jaguars pull off the upset in Pittsburgh to advance to play New England. In one of the craziest endings to a game ever, Minnesota squeaked by the Saints on the final play of the game.

2018 NFL Conference Championships Prediction2018 NFL Conference Championships PredictionWe kick things off with the AFC Championship game as the Jaguars head to New England and face the Patriots. This comes as a surprise to many that the Jaguars made it past the Steelers, but it seemed like Pittsburgh had looked past them. Jacksonville has one of the better defenses in the league as they know how to pressure the QB. If that isn’t enough, they have two of the best CBs in the league in Ramsey and Bouyae. Can Blake Bortles do enough against the Patriots defense to pull off the upset against the defending champs? The big news out of New England this week is the injury to the throwing hand of Tom Brady. Either way, with this being for a shot to go to another Super Bowl, I’m not taking this injury seriously. I’m taking the Patriots to go back to the Super Bowl.

New England Win 30-20

2018 NFL Conference Championships Prediction2018 NFL Conference Championships PredictionNow it’s time for the NFC Championship as the Philadelphia Eagles host the Minnesota Vikings. As you should know by now, Minnesota is in this position because Stefon Diggs TD catch on the last play of the game. Minnesota comes into this game with arguably the best defense in the NFC that will pressure Nick Foles. On the offensive side, Case Keenum had an MVP-like season and he’ll have to deal with the pressure coming from the Eagles defense. Can they win and host the Super Bowl in Minnesota? The Philadelphia Eagles will be the underdogs once again and it something they’ve embraced. The defense has gone four consecutive games giving up less than 10 points at home. Can Nick Foles repeat his performance from last week and eliminate the mistake he made? This could be a defensive game between these two and I believe the Vikings will leave with the win.

Minnesota Win 20-17

No Deal: U.S. Government Goes Into Shutdown After Senate Rejects Funding Bill!

The United States has its first government shutdown in nearly five years after senators failed to reach a deal to keep the lights on. An effort by Republicans to keep the government open for one month was rejected in a vote on Friday night after they failed to address Democratic concerns about young undocumented immigrants known as Dreamers. Republicans needed 60 votes to advance the bill but the legislation only received the support of 50 senators. Five red state Democrats broke ranks to support the bill while four Republicans voted against. Posted By Persist

Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Named Their Newborn Daughter Chicago, and Twitter Has Jokes

All the guessing and speculation of the name of the newest Baby West can finally come to an end. Just as anticipation reached a fever pitch, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have revealed the name of their third child!

Chicago West!

Kim revealed the name of her daughter via her app on Friday. It’s unclear if the couple chose the name earlier in their surrogate’s pregnancy or after meeting their newborn daughter. Kanye grew up on the South Side of Chicago.

Kim also added that the baby’s nickname will be Chi, pronounced “Shy.”

Baby Chi was born via surrogacy on January 15 and weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz. Kim and Kanye were both in the room when she was born and Kim was the first to have skin-to-skin contact. Kim announced her daughter’s birth via her app on Tuesday (Jan. 16).

“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”

This is Kim and Kanye’s third child. They also have daughter North, 4, and son Saint, 2. We wish the family of five well.

Of course once the news hit Twitter, the jokes and memes came right in like clockwork:
